The Cub Field is a gently sloping area, ideal for medium sized groups of 20-60 people.
There is easy access from the track directly onto the top edge of the Cub Field where a number of vehicles can be parked.
The Cub Field is ideal for groups that would like to book the Field Kitchen, which is situated directly next to this camping area.
There is a ‘Small Camp Fire area’ situated nearby the Field Kitchen, this is the designated ground fire point (the only place where ground fires are allowed, other than in the Camp Fire Hollow) exclusively for the Base Camp and Cub Field users – with the idea that it is shared between any groups staying across those two areas.
In addition, groups are also able to utilise the main ‘Camp Fire Hollow’ which is a shared communal space for all groups on site.
